Legras & Haas Exigence No. 11 Grand Cru

This Champagne house was founded by three brothers in 1991 and is now attracting a significant following. I first tasted it at Château Lascombes with Axel Heinz. The Exigence No. 11 Grand Cru is a blend of Pinot Noir from Ay and Chardonnay from Chouily. Pale gold, aromas of brioche and summer currants, palate unfolds with layers of biscuit, hazelnuts, wonderful creamy mousse, very long and extremely classy.
