Château Bélair-Monange 2022

I tasted this during Connoisseur Week Bordeaux with Christian Moueix. It is as close to perfection as I have ever tasted in a young wine. The old adage that “beautiful young wines stay beautiful” I believe to be true. The 2022 has everything, concentration of pure vibrant fruit, a fine girdle of tannins,  beautifully structured but with an ethereal quality which reflects its limestone terroir. Hauntingly beautiful, and everything still to come.
