The words “utterly gorgeous” should suffice. An outstanding Biondi-Santi, truffles on the nose, an exuberant explosion of lovely woodland fruit, truffles and fresh mushrooms, a streak of acidity running through like an arrow, silky fine tannins, but the overall impression is a wine of harmony and exquisite balance.
